Preferably grey or navy with a little bit of a stretch. I’ll be doing my own search and posting the results too!

have-to-have:

The Love Beret. Wearing my hearts from head to toes this Valentine’s Day.

This hat is so adorable. Perfectly stylish.

I can never resist turquoise. And this coat is on sale! (Reduced to $71.62). Perfect for spring isn’t it? I’m a sucker for peter pan collars.

Sometimes fashion is so hard to reach, so very far away. Incorporating something avant garde, something wacky is very difficult— this amazing bustier is exactly what I wish I could add into my wardrobe and show off my adventurous side. $190 is steep, but not unimaginable; is it too much to pay for something that can transform you into an otherworldly fashionista?

In the cold days of winter, it can be hard to find the right footwear. How can you find something that is warm, stylish and fits your personality? If you’re the kind of person who loves her converse to death, maybe these are you new winter staples (the faux shearling lining is the perfect touch). I tend to go with a more classic personal style myself, but these cuties feel like they are calling to me— maybe I could be a little more badass?

I adore this bag— it is so cute! And I may or may not have eaten cake for breakfast before (it was delicious) so I think the message is perfect for me. It’s number one on my have to haves for summer!

Yale Girl is back at Yale and back online. Let the fashion procrastination begin! Any fashion resolutions for the new year?

Seasons of Taylor → Winter style

Now, there are differences of opinion on the value of Taylor Swift’s music to the world (although I am firmly in the “give me more of her adorableness” camp), but her winter style is something that should be universally appreciated. Her mix of knitted beanies, toggle jackets and oversize scarves is the perfect combination of comfy, casual and stylish (trust me, if your hair isn’t looking that great one day or you aren’t sure about your oufit, throwing on a beanie and a structured jacket is the perfect style fix).

Here are some pieces to help you channel her cuteness (At least, I know I want to):

So, do you love her style as much as I do? Do these photos make you want to run out and wear red lipstick and a beanie ASAP?

These are so gorgeous— I always have a soft spot for cowboy boots and these seem like the perfect pair for winter. The subtle shimmery gold poking through the black is so pretty. I think I need to wear these with black skinny jeans and a puffy winter coat.

So, how do you guys feel about cowboy boots?

Agreed. Ignore the “rules”. Dress like you want to dress.
