Do you want all the compliments this summer when you clip-clop down the boardwalk? If that answer is yes (as it should be) then you may have to get these awesome sandals from Modcloth. Perfect with some high-waisted shorts, a cropped shirt and a blazer, maybe? How would you wear them?

I can never resist turquoise. And this coat is on sale! (Reduced to $71.62). Perfect for spring isn’t it? I’m a sucker for peter pan collars.

Sometimes fashion is so hard to reach, so very far away. Incorporating something avant garde, something wacky is very difficult— this amazing bustier is exactly what I wish I could add into my wardrobe and show off my adventurous side. $190 is steep, but not unimaginable; is it too much to pay for something that can transform you into an otherworldly fashionista?

Everyone has that friend who’s a huge camera buff— always snap, snap, snapping like you’re own personal paparazzo (except more often than not they’re shooting a puddle or the sky or a cool building, not you). Or maybe you’re even that friend. Cameras can produce such amazing photos, but they also inspire all of these awesome items, perfect gifts for any budding Ansel Adams or anyone addicted to Instagram.

Get these camera items (and others) from my list here.

Do you want to get snap happy with these pieces?

I adore this bag— it is so cute! And I may or may not have eaten cake for breakfast before (it was delicious) so I think the message is perfect for me. It’s number one on my have to haves for summer!

The holidays are the time for lusting over things you can’t have and wishing you had a rich maiden aunt to buy you everything you dream of. Exhibit A is these boots that I adore, that are on sale and that are still so expensive. If I wasn’t Jewish, I would be begging Santa for them right now.

When you’re a student, your budget is limited, especially after all those expensive books and late night chinese food and whatever else. When you’re shopping for the holidays, then, you can’t just be going crazy buying those beautiful (but expensive) gift guides that suggest 12 months of cheeses or Miu Miu booties (as much as you might want them). Enter the College Girl’s Gift Guide: 21 under $21. Basically, I have chosen my 21 top gift picks for this holiday season so that everything in this photoset (and on my Have to Have list) is $21 or less. This is only part 1— the rest are coming. For now, here’s my list:

So, guys, what do you think? Does this give you good ideas in your budget?

My Dorm Series continues with one that is oh so relevant in the neo-gothic architecture that is just all over New England campuses (and especially Yale). I call this one “Eccentric” but with a little tweaking it could really be “Antique” or “Steampunk” or “Gothic”. This set just really makes me want to cuddle in bed with hot cocoa and some Edgar Allen Poe.

Please, I need these in my life right now! I rarely see anything I fall in love with on first site like these. Why is Ann Taylor so cool now?

Shearling Boots

In a stroke of inspired indulgence, longhair shearling adds a luxe touch to these incredibly chic lace-up booties.

Guys—

Have to Have is doing an amazing promotion with Yale right now whereby if (by November 28th) you get the most followers then you can win $500 at Saks Fifth Avenue for 1st place, $200 for second and $100 for third. I am unfortunately ineligible, but you all should get on it! Meanwhile I will be browsing Saks online wishing *I* had $500.

Do it.
