Again, something that makes me feel like if I put it on, my cool factor would rise an immeasurable amount. Unfortunately, in return my bank account would be minus $260. I may only be able to fantasize about them, but these earrings have made me realize one thing: where have neon safety pins been all my life?
As promised, following my previous post on Valentine’s Day, lingerie for the most lingerie-friendly holiday. I tried to be as conservative with price as possible, but it can be quite difficult when lingerie can be very expensive pieces of lace and silk! That’s probably why I like it so much. I’ve found many more pieces on my Have to Have list, so if these don’t please you, check them out. I know hearts are cheesy, but they are really quite adorable on this very cheesy holiday, aren’t they? And I think I chose enough of a range that I think any girl would love them.
When you’re a student, your budget is limited, especially after all those expensive books and late night chinese food and whatever else. When you’re shopping for the holidays, then, you can’t just be going crazy buying those beautiful (but expensive) gift guides that suggest 12 months of cheeses or Miu Miu booties (as much as you might want them). Enter the College Girl’s Gift Guide: 21 under $21. Basically, I have chosen my 21 top gift picks for this holiday season so that everything in this photoset (and on my Have to Have list) is $21 or less. This is only part 1— the rest are coming. For now, here’s my list:
So, guys, what do you think? Does this give you good ideas in your budget?
I just had to make a list of peony items given that they are my favorite flowers. I’ve always thought they they go so well with an autumnal theme (despite this being entirely the wrong season for them), so I have to combat these practicalities by finding peonies that bloom all year round. I have my heart set on that gorgeous peony ring, so don’t try to dissuade me.
You can get those (and other immortal peonies) here:
Do you love peonies as much as I do? Or do you have some other favorite flower?
Sometimes you just have to be adorable— you have an overwhelming desire for pink and hearts and bows and kittens— and these sweaters perfectly encapsulate that. When you want people to go, “Awwwww” when they see your outfit, you need one of these cute cardigans or pullovers. For more cuteness in your life (and where to buy these darling sweaters), check out my Have to Have list:
But the pressing question still remains, can you ever be too cute?
How would you wear this brilliant pink blazer?
Oh, is it a challenge? Because I can’t resist.
Winter: black skinny corduroys, white t-shirt, light heather gray sweater, black thigh high boots and a dark gray snood.
Summer: white piqué short shorts, sheer white blouse with a white longline bra (visible underneath) and leather wedge sandals.
